Father and Child Abducted ISIS Found Dead Headless in Egypt
Cairo - Two headless bodies identified as father and son were found on the roadside in Rafah, north of Sinai, Egypt, May 6, 2017. Strong allegations are both victims of the ISIS abduction that was later killed by the terror organization.
The two headless bodies were taken to a local hospital to be identified and prepared for burial, as reported by the Belfast Telegraph on Saturday (6/5/2017).
In addition to being active in Syria, ISIS militant groups are also engaged in activities in northern Sinai, Egypt. The terror organization has kidnapped and murdered several people suspected of cooperating with law enforcement officials.
The militant group fought off military forces and spread terror in Sinai, Egypt. Since 2013, ISIS activity has escalated.
Currently, the militant group is exclusively targeting the Christian community. The minority religious group in Egypt was forced to flee out of Sinai after some of them became targets of murder.
Not only that, a number of places of Christian worship is also a target of bomb attacks. The latest incident is the explosion of coptic church bombs in Tanta and Alexandria that killed dozens of people in mid-April 2017.
The bomb blast took place in the Coptic Church of Saint George (Mar Gigis) in Tanta, near the Nile Delta, northern Egypt, as reported by CNN on Sunday, April 9, 2017 local time.
At the time of the incident, the church was performing the Palm Sunday worship, the celebration of Sunday before Easter and marked the beginning of the holy week for Christians in Egypt.
In addition, on the same day, the second explosion occurred at Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Alexandria. At least 11 people were killed and 35 others injured in the bombing.
The Islamic State or ISIS claimed to be the mastermind of the nagging church bomb attack.
